Pink and tasty....

I wanted to revisit this layout...again...as it can be so versatile with the right stamp set...there are a lot of "line" stamp sets...and these tasty desserts come from the retired Hostess set "Birthday Bakery"..just a 2 color card, with a little bling!

Bright Birthday

Needed a card for a young lady (she's 9...) and didn't want it to be too girly or young...saw this layout in subtle colors and decided to try it in brights...IT IS BRIGHT!

Ad nauseum

As usual, once I find a nice layout, I have to try it with several cards...here's the same layout as the Sahara Sand daisy card, but with a holiday twist.  I stamped the cocktail 2x, trimming and popping up the main part of the glass...the holiday paper is retired from last year...I would have liked a skinny ribbon, but this was all I had that matched...

Subtle...

I saw a version of this card and had to try it...the flower image is done in Sahara Sand for a tone-on-tone look...This image is highlighted by a paper pierced circle...

Fun in the Sun

My friend, Cheryl, invited my clan over for a fun day of swimming, so I wanted to send her a card to thank her....and what is better than a swimming themed card?  I got this layout from the demo magazine...and I used up some retired colors!

Thumped Leaves

I knew I wanted this stamp when I first laid eyes on it...but it's one of the stamps you have to keep using before you really LOVE it!  I thumped the background with a variety of fall colored markers (after stamping it in Old Olive)...markered up the bird and stamped him separately (and cut him out and popped with up with Dimensionals)   I wanted a rustic ribbon, but didn't have, so I pulled a few threads out of a piece of satin ribbon...and think I achieved the look I wanted!  Added a buckle and sentiment...background in stamped with the Woodgrain large background stamp (although I'm really wanting the woodgrain embossing folder!)

Happy Cheers!

Here's another card  I made for my hubby's uncle's 70th birthday...I didn't want to do the traditional b'day cake...so I went for a masculine look...
