Forget CASEing...

I just straight copied this card from the IB & C!   Well, I did change it up a little...I shifted the panel to the right and added the layer and scalloped edging....

Only the green butterfly is popped up...the rest are stamped directly on the paper...

Favorite Layout!

This is one of my all-time favorite cards!  I only wish I had more of the Hodgepodge Hardware to make some more!  I love the hardware with the Designer Label behind it!  This is a case from Splitcoaststamper.com..I just changed up the hardware and the colors!

D/S paper, Crumb Cake, Bashful Blue, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla

Same layout...but girly!

I used the same layout to make some pretty plain and get well cards....you can adjust the size of the circle to fit your image...used pearls instead of brads to anchor the strips of D/S paper...

I saw a version of this card and had to try it...the flower image is done in Sahara Sand for a tone-on-tone look...This image is highlighted by a paper pierced circle...

Love that Layout!

The top photo is the card I CASEd from SU! demo magazine...the 2nd card I made for my hubby for his return to work (which was today) and of course I forgot to give it to him...oh well....

Seen before...

I know you've seen this layout before...but it just works perfectly with Mixed Bunch..it's hard to see in the photo, but I put a Real Red punched flower under the stamped one, adding some dimension...the leaves are part of the 5 petal flower...

Can't get any simpler than this....

Can you imagine the possibilities?

Different sentiments with different color combos?

The flower is from the Mixed Bunch set...

Sunflowers

I still love this set!  Here's 2 versions of the same card...I couldn't decide between the 2 flowers...the black one is embossed with embossing powder...the More Mustard colored flower has a Very Vanilla layer behind it...the large wave piece is from Tasteful Trims...

Acetate wings

I have had my pack of acetate sheets FOREVER, and when I saw this project, I just knew I had to use my stash!  Hopefully you can see the wings in the above photo...the acetate butterflies are even embossed with the Swiss Dots folder so they have some texture...I used some baker's twine to tie the 2 butterflies together (using a a glue dot in back)...

Toile Butterfly

I saw a version of this and had to try it...I love the design on the bigger butterfly layer...although, now that I look at it I should have sponged the edges and maybe even embossed with clear embossing powder...this card started out as a Mother's Day card, but I think it turned into a Wedding card!

Pretty in Pink., Crumb Cake, Early Expresso, Sahara Sand

Lovely Notecards

I used my new embossing folder to make a very delicate notecard...stamped the base card and the top layer almost in the same spots to add dimension...them placed a sentiment in the center of the oval embossing....these would make a nice gift set...in multiple colors with different sentiments...

Basic Black ink, Blushing Bride paper...

Butterfly engagement

My friend needed an engagement card for a friend and instead of going the traditional blue & white with a ring on it, I opted for a springy peach card with a butterfly...I love this card and use it for many occasions...

Little chocolates

I thought this was the most adorable card when I saw the sample of it on Splitcoaststampers.com...

The original was in shades of gray, but I changed it up to shades of brown.  To get all the chocolates the same, I cut one using 1 1/4 inch circle along the bottom of a piece of straight cardstock, and used that one as a template to trim the rest of the circles.  I made this as a Mother's Day card for my mother-in-law (as she's a chocoholic!)

Naturals White, Chocolate Chip, Soft Suede, Early Expresso, Very Vanilla

Poppy Parade wishes

My friend asked me to make her a card for a coworker who was leaving her job...so I pulled out an oldie-but-a-goodie and whipped it up in Poppy Parade...the second photo shows how I added some teeny punches flowers...

I finally made it...

I've been wanting to make this card FOREVER, and when my mom came down for a visit, I thought it was the perfect opportunity...it is from "A Slice of Life"...the vase is watercolored--it's hard to tell in the photo..

Concord Crush, Baja Breeze, Pear Pizzaz, Whisper White

Not my style...

...but I tried it anyway....I saw this card on DarleneDesigns (check out her blog under my blog list on the left) and I fell in love with it...she had done that background differently and used slightly different colors, but the overall look is the same...

I used some teeny tiny metal beads (that I've had forever) that I dyed with some Staz-on ink refill to be black (as they were originally silver) for the center of the flower...

The center flower is from Fifth Avenue Floral and the background flowers are from A Slice of Life...

This would make a great card to have on hand for any occasion...

Not Quite Navy, River Rock, Melon Mambo, Pretty in Pink (for watercoloring the flower)

Super simple, but time consuming...

Does, this look like tiles?

These are 1 inch squares, each embossed with a different embossing folder (hence the time consuming part)...the little stamped square is actually a tag stamp...this could really be an any occasion card--just change up the last square...

Love and Layout

I wanted to make a card for my wonderful hubby...and couldn't resist this layout...it was a Splitcoaststampers weekly layout challenge...

You can hardly see it, but I stamped some hearts on the bottom half of the card in River Rock ink...don't you just love rounded corners?
