It's coming!
Halloween!
I love when a layout can be translated into any card!
I used this layout to make some cupcake cards a few weeks back, and decided to use it again for Halloween...I just love this (retired) Booglie Eyes set...it's my go to set for anything Halloween!
This layout is so versatile...you can use patterned paper, ebossed paper, or just plain stamped/background paper for any of the elements!

I wish I was this clever!
I ordered the stocking punch, partly because I am addicted to punches and their matching stamp sets, but also because I liked having another Christmas punch...but little did I know I was going to get a Hobby Horse punch!
I saw so many talented stampers turn this sock, essentially, into the most adorable horse, so I had to make a go of it! I stamped the stocking in Cherry Cobbler (my new go-to red)...the heel of the sock doubles as the ear...the mane is some chocolate grosgrain snipped to look like hair...the bridle is made from to pieces of 1/4" grosgrain wrapped and secured with a brad...add a 'broomstick' strip of card stock and you have the most adorable Hobby Horse!
I've also seen these done in pastels for baby cards!

Ever have a duh! moment?
I decided to make the new jumbo stocking die into a card...I figured it would be a super cut and super easy card to mass produce...and I have some envelopes that it would fit in....
So I made the fold toward the left side (partially covered by heel cover and top band), but I found it wasted a lot of extra paper...
Then I was searching around the internet for ideas and saw that someone had made a similar card but the fold was at the top! DUH! I'm going to have to try it!

It's Christmas time...
Love the new stocking stamp set with the coordinating punch!
This layout is direct from Krista Fenton...changed up the colors and used a rub-on for the sentiment...
The punch is a little tricky to line up and sort of wastes some extra paper, but I think I'm finally getting the hang of it...
Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler, (retired) D/S paper, Very Vanilla

Mom's flower pot...
My mom came for a visit last week and since she spent a few extra days, we had time to stamp, which we haven't done in FOREVER!
We made this card...it's a CASE from my fellow demo, Madeline Soler...she sent this to me one Mother's Day...I changed up the colors and added texture to the pot...and I added some leaves...
Wouldn't this make a nice bridal shower invite? Or Get Well? Or birthday?

Beautiful Butterflies
I have to apologize first! These photos are horrible! The colors and focus are off! But....
Isn't this an adorable idea? I saw it somewhere (sorry I forgot, again!)...these butterflies are cut from vellum cardstock or regular cardstock from the Big Shot Butterfly diecut...folded and snipped a little in the middle to attach to a wine glass...of course, after staring at them, I decided to add some Dazzling Diamonds to the edges of the wings...
I am going to make them for my friend's wedding...it'll be such a nice touch...
