A little sunshine...
on another snowy day! I saw this card on Mary Fish's blog...she made it in Rich Razzleberry and what a stunner! Mine is done in Orchid Oppulence, but doesn't quite make the same splash...I'll have to try it in a brighter color (I used up all my Razzleberry!)

Build-a-Bear Birthday Party
I decided to have my daughter's 9th birthday party in our home and we are going to have a Build-a-Bear party! The girls are going to make the little pen-holding coloring book, their own goody bag, a covered journal, decorated with a BAB diecut and a 6 x 6 scrapbook page that my daughter will keep as a memory of her special day....here are some photos of the coloring book and the goody bag...I will post a photo of the invitation and the journal as soon as I get my order from SU! for some Designer Series paper....

Another FUN Playdate!
Yesterday a few demos got together and we made some great cards....Evelyn Rivera designed the pink fold out card with the magic window...Joan Buckley did an amazing brayer technique on the Asian inspired card...Debbie Nunez made the adorable Ladybug card...Madeline Soler showed us the cutest chick card from the scallop circle Sizzix diecut...and I made a different version of my heart Bride and Groom card....

Cute houses!
Here's a couple of samples from the FREE Sale-a-bration set 'Good Neighbors'....I love the color combo of Real Red and Tempting Turquoise--this would have made a cute Valentine's Day card, too! The Summer Sun card is just a variation of the same card I did with Kraft, Chocolate Chip and Tempting Turquoise....

Happy Valentine's Day!
Here's my hubby's Valentine's Day card--I thought it was different than the typical red/white card...plus with only one layer, it was super quick! My kid's and I made the Build-a-Bear 'Valentines' using the bear die and the full heart punch...we dressed the bears in cute little Valentine shirts and jeans and gave them hearts to hold where the kids signed their names....

Definitely Stamper's Meeting
Here are 3 adorable Make-n-Takes we did at our monthly SU! Demo group meeting....Cheryl Robinson showed us how to use our Cuttlebug/Big Shot to make Fleece Roses that we made into pins....Norma showed us a sweet little mailbox with Hershey's nuggets (I will post more views of it as soon as I put a little flag on it -mine fell off in travel!)...and Erica Tannenbaum's Make-n-Take was a cute Peek-a-boo treat holder, great for a little chocolate surprise for anyone special in your life....

Trendy Trees...part 2
Here's the 2 samples I promised from this adorable set-Trendy Trees....You can match up the leaves with the trunk almost perfectly, but if you are really anal like me, the Stamp-a-ma-jig is the perfect tool for you! I have owned this tool since I became a demo over six years ago, and I think I used it once! It always seemed annoying to me that you had to stamp on the acrylic sheet and then constantly wipe it off....but...then I came across the idea to stamp the images on vellum cardstock with Stazon Ink and then you have a permanent sheet to use over and over again! This is such a great card to make and only one layer!

I love Trendy Trees! (part 1)
I absolutely love this set! Here's 2 similar versions...this set is so versatile--just change the color of the tree and you have a female/male card or change the sentiment and you have a Get Well/Thank You/Birthday card...stop by on Friday for some more samples using this set and the Stamp-a-jig! Oh! And don't forget to check out that luscious Old Olive satin ribbon that is from the new Occasions Mini...it's soooooo nice.....

Sparklely Butterflies!
I used my new Embosslits "Beautiful Wings" and some double-sided sticker sheets (just like the red sticky tape but in a sheet) to cut out some butterflies (hint: the die does not entirely cut through the sticker sheet, so you have to hand-trim)...then I placed them on a Whisper White card and rubbed some glitter on them....it was so easy! Added a sentiment (here I used Rich Razzleberry to match the glitter) and done!
