Simple Life Happy Birthday

I really love this set "A Simple Life"!  The images are so clean and, well, simple...can't wait to make more cards with this image--was thinking anniversary, get well, and Mother's Day!

Whisper White, Melon Mambo (and Wild Wasabi for leaves)

Here's that paper again!

I only bought 2 12 x 12 sheets of this paper, but, boy, am I getting my money's worth!  Here I paired it with the 'latte' image from "A Simple Life' set...

A big thanks goes out to my mom for these adorable bunny cards she sent to us....she's now a punch addict like me!

Happy Easter!

Just wanted to wish you all a Happy Easter!  I'll hopefully get a chance to stamp this week with the kids going back to school...as much as I love a break, I love the routine of school because when the kids (& hubby) are all home, I never seem to fit in a stamping session!

           Enjoy you day!

Sweet Strawberries....

I couldn't resist this card when I saw it on Mary Fish's blog!  It's the embossed heart!!  I like the 2nd card with the embossed bottom better, but both are too cute!

The leaves on the top of the strawberry is the 5 petal flower punch just snipped and glued down....I also added a few Little Leaves and the stem is free handed....

Real Red, Glorious Green, Whisper White, Crumb Cake

Choo-Choo!

Here's the totally SU! version of the previous card...the sentiment is from the Spring Mini set Bring on the Cake....it may seem a little light in the phtot but stamping the track, sentiment, and smoke in Tempting Turquoise is actually really nice!

Special Boy Birthday

I needed a very special card for a very special boy that is having his 4th birthday next week....even thought his theme is pirates (and I have the perfect pirate stamp) I decided to make this train card....

The vellum sticker is one of those supplies that you pick up because they are on clearance but you never get around to using :).....the yellow 4 is a Cuttlebug Kids die....I love how the tracks and the smoke are visible but not prominent...

Tempting Turquoise, Real Red, Summer Sun, Green Galore

Not exactly...

...how I thought this card would turn out...I like the rows of leaves and buttons....but I have such a had time mixing stamped images with the pre-made self-adhesive Ice Cream Parlor SAB items...(I can't for the life of me think of what they are called and I'm too lazy to get off my butt and go look the name up!)

I think I will try this card with some punched flowers instead, maybe in a monocromatic scheme...stay tuned!

Nugget box

My sister-in-law needed some spring treats for her co-workers and since I was cranking away with my Big Shot and my matchbox diecut, I decided to whip up a few of these...they almost look bridal, right?

I used a flower wheel in Almost Amethyst ink to make the background of the box...the ink cartridge was almost dry, but I liked the effect, so I didn't re-ink....

Vintage Buttons

I can't get enough of these paper buttons form the embosslit!  When I saw this paper (non-SU!....sorry!) I just new it was meant for buttons!  And it matches with Blush Blossom, which I have a ton of!  I posted 2 photos because I wanted to show how I attached the little tags....one uses hemp-and real buttons- and the other a safety pin....some of the tags are just for color and have no stamping on them...on the 2 stamped ones, I used the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes....

Mini purses

I saw this adorable pocketbook on www.mychicnsrcatch.com (with complete instructions) and decided to make them as little Mother's Day treats--two Hershey's nuggets fit nicely but I also got some Dove squares to put inside....I used the Button Embosslit for the closure....cute, huh?

Congrats on your new home!

I needed a card for my good friend who got me into SU!...she has moved onto greener pastures (South Carolina!)...I pulled out this set from last year's SAB and used some of the elements from the Ice Cream Parlor SAB paper set from this year...this set is a clear mount set so it's easy to line up the roof with the body of the house...

Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie, Marina Mist, Pacific Point, Old Olive D/S paper (the hill is a little more than half of a large oval punch)

Girly Buttons

I needed a card for a 6 year old and what could be more girly than these 2 cards?  The stamp sets are retired but the layout is perfect for lots of different occasions....just emboss the bottom of the card (half way up) and you're all set to add those terrific paper buttons that you can make from the Button embosslet.....

Pale Plum and assorted purples and pinks.....

Happy Birthday, Maggie (a little early)

Here are the treats I am making for my soon-to-be ten year old to give out at school...it is just a full sized Hershey bar wrapped in some (cheap!) paper...we punched out some cupcakes and added a cherry!  So simple--they better be--we're making 30!

Also picked up some sports-themed paper to make them for my son's July birthday!
