The last one...

Here's a card I made for my friend, May...

It's such a simple one-layer card...

Catching up....

I know I've been MIA as of late...that spring weather through me into a tailspin!  I fixed up my yard and spent days getting the kids' summer clothes organized (and with 4 of them, you can imagine the enormity of the task!)

Here are the rest of the cards I made for the kids for St. Pat's Day...giving them individual cards for Valentine's Day was such a hit, that I made them each a St. Pats' Day card...

SIDE NOTE: I forgot to give them these cards on the actual holiday and only found them while trying to get back into stamping mode about 5 days later!!! Oh well...better late than never!

Not quite what I thought...

My fellow stamper, Brenda, made this card in shades of brown and mustard...and I thought that I would change up the color combo...but it didn't have the same effect...but still nice...

Purple Mother's Day...

Here's a different version of the same card I have shown, but this one uses the rectangular embossing folder...I rounded the corners of the embossed piece...still love the oval sooooo much better!

Poppy pair...

I love Poppy Parade!  And I love how it works with Pretty in Pink...I'm usually not into pink and red, but these 2 colors work...

More oval embossing....

I saw a layout similar to this on Artfeltimpressions back in October and have been waiting to try it...

The color combo is straight from the Color Coach...

So Saffron, Poppy Parade, Baja Breeze

I screwed up a little but didn't feel like redoing the card...I grabbed a sponged to sponge the edge of the Baja Breeze center flag, but it had some green ink on it...it isn't that noticeable--sort of blends in...but it might just bother me to much...so I might just change it!

Same card, different paper...

...different sentiment...still went back and added a brad at the point where the sentiment is tucked under the strip of paper...

A thank you card for my tax man...

A little too many patterns

Thin stripes, thick stripes, big polka dots...

Maybe I over did it???

There's a hint of gold glitter on the coins falling from the pot o' gold...the ribbon is actually Old Olive, but blends well enough..

I got side-tracked!

I wanted to post all the St. Pat's card's I made, but I got so excited to show the new embossing folder, that I forgot that I had a few more St. Pat's cards to show...

Here's another one...you've seen the layout before in some Male  birthday cards I've made in the past...

The embossing folder is from Cuttlebug (a really cute 4 pack that I got from the internet)...I used the silver jumbo brad, but when I put it on the card, it looked so naked, so I added a little stamped shamrock to it's top just glued on with a tiny glue dot...

I think I'm in love...

I love the new 2 pack Designer Labels embossing folders!  But I think I'm more in love with the oval one (sorry rectangle!)

I love how this card came together....love the layout from Artfeltimpressions...used my Coluzzle to cut out an oval first and then sent it through the Big Shot in the oval embossing folder (learned that the hard way!)

Here is some green....

Since making Valentine's Day cards for my family was such a big hit, I decided to each one their own St. Pat's card...

Here's the one for my hubby...even though the stamp and the sentiment are not SU!, the paper definitely is...

***Tip Time:  To get the tails of the strips equal, lay them face together and snip at the angle...this ensures that they are identical***

After seeing this card in print, I went back and added a gold brad at the point where the sentiment meets the patterned paper..

The layout is one from Artfeltimpressions...
