Just a little note for my hubby...this stamp (S.W.A.K.) is retiring and I've always wanted it...so I splurged and I think I'll get a lot of use out of it.
Here I used Real Red, Pretty in Pink and Pink Piroheutte and just stamped all over! Can't wait till Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day, hubby!
Here's the card I made for my wonderful hubby...the stamp is a non-SU! stamp I picked up in the $1 bins at Michael's...but everything else is SU!
The sentiments are from the retired rub-ons set (Chit Chat)...notice the wood grain background...perfect!

Happy Valentine's Day (part 2)
Well, Valentine's Day was a super success at my house this morning! Who would have known that the kids would be ecstatic about getting their own individualized cards? I got lots of hugs and kisses!
The ladybug card was for Rose (and said 'You're as cute as a bug' inside)...I used my newest Cuttlebug folder (with ladybugs and hearts)....
The second card was for TJ...'You're cute as a cupcake'...the pedestal footing is just a scrap of paper with the top of the hear punch cut out to make the 2 scallops (picture the hart upside down)...
...now what to make for St. Patrick's Day???!!!!

Happy Valentine's Day! (part 1)
I realized last week that I never really make my kids any cards...can you believe it? So I decided to make them some Valentine cards....these 2 are for Maggie and Timmy....Maggie is a super fan of s'mores and when I found this chocolate and marshmallow punch art, well, what could be more perfect?....the inside reads "I love you s'more each day" Timmy is the ultimate boy, so what's better than a space ship with the inside reading "You're out of this world"? Look for the other 2 cards for my other 2 children tomorrow....

It's that time of year again....
...when I make myself crazy making little treats for all my kids' classes....this year we decided on FunDip...I put them in a little matchbook cover...
To make your own, just mearure your treats width and add 1/4 inch...measure the length and double (noting the score line) and add 3/8 inch or 1/2 inch for the small flap at the bottom...

Cupid Valentine....
Ever like just one single stamp from a large stamp set? I always find that that happens to me...I like the cupid stamp from the new set P.S. I love You, but it is a set of 15 stamps...and I have enough Valentine stamps already!
I found this little guy in the $1.50 stamp bin at Michaels and put him to good use...I saw this layout on Artfeltimpressions and loved it! I still like the SU! cupid stamp better, but this is a good substitute...
I cut the little tail in the black piece with the 1 1/4 in square (at an angle)
Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black, Whisper White

Hubby valentine...
...or not....
I made this card with my hubby in mind, but then I found a little $1 stamp at Michael's that would make a better card (will post soon!)
Still like this one, though...pretty simply layout so it's more masculine...I highlighted the definition by stamping it twice...once on the white then again on Regal Rose, cutting out the words 'valentine' and 'you'...
Real Red, Regal Rose, Whisper White

Finally....
...a timely card! And you can actually CASE me! Ha Ha!
It's about time that I post some cards that can inspire you...
This stamp may be retired, but you can really switch out the heart for another type of heart...I cut the Pretty In Pink circle big enough to surround my image, and moved it off to the side of the card...the Very Vanilla border around the pink circle is actually made up of little hearts glued to the back of the circle...it makes for a cute scallop! The Cherry Cobbler background is embossed in the Big Shot...

BUBBLE GUM LOVE...
I was asked to make a 'campy' Valentine for a friend's fiance...this one says "I chews you' on the inside...
I used an acetate sheet as the 'glass' part of the bubble gum machine...hard to see in the photo...

Brenda's swap...
My fellow demo and friend is hosting a swap and here is my card....I used the Punch Potpourri Hostess set...Brenda's theme was a great one...create a card that uses one ink per stamp (I only used Basic Black for stamping and River Rock for sponging) and allows her to use it for one of her classes....

Non-traditional Valentine....
Not totally in love with this color combo, but I do love the stamp set! Not even too hip on the layout, but it is a CASE from a SU! publication...I added some white gel pen to the petals on one of the hearts and the dots only on the other...added some Crystal Effects, too...Used More Mustard ink on the Daffodil piece to stamp the 'Love'....
Regal Rose, Delightful Daffodil, Tempting Turquoise, and a tiny strip of Old Olive (under the white ribbon)

Happy Anniversary!
Today marks 19 years together for my wonderful hubby and I (I just realized it yesterday!) so I needed a quickie card for to mark our anniversary...I saw the rainbow card and decided to try it (as a birthday card for my niece) and then thought it would make a great anniversary/wedding/Valentine's Day card....so I tried it in shades of pink (plus I'm trying to use up my retiring colors to justify the $200 I just spent on new catty stuff!)....the rainbow hearts uses Real Red, Only Orange, YoYo Yellow, Glorious Green, Ballet Blue and Lavender Lace....the pink card uses Rich Razzleberry,Melon Mambo, Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink, Pink Passion & Pixie Pink...check back soon for circle cards and a new Color Inspiration! I've been punch crazy!

Definitely Stamper's Meeting
Here are 3 adorable Make-n-Takes we did at our monthly SU! Demo group meeting....Cheryl Robinson showed us how to use our Cuttlebug/Big Shot to make Fleece Roses that we made into pins....Norma showed us a sweet little mailbox with Hershey's nuggets (I will post more views of it as soon as I put a little flag on it -mine fell off in travel!)...and Erica Tannenbaum's Make-n-Take was a cute Peek-a-boo treat holder, great for a little chocolate surprise for anyone special in your life....
