Multi-colored leaf

I've had this diecut/embossing folder duo forever, so I decided to break it out...I didn't know how to color the leaf so I just smooshed a bunch of colors onto the paper with daubers...then stamped with woodgrain background...the background behind the leaf is embossed with the strips folder--but horizontally...

Favorite Layout!

This is one of my all-time favorite cards!  I only wish I had more of the Hodgepodge Hardware to make some more!  I love the hardware with the Designer Label behind it!  This is a case from Splitcoaststamper.com..I just changed up the hardware and the colors!

Dawn O.'s pinecones

I saw a version of this card on Dawn Olchefske's blog...she always has great stuff...this card uses the technique of inking an embossing folder...Dawn has a great video that makes it sooooo simple....and she had a great tip to ink up the entire folder and run 2 pieces of paper through at one time...the tope picture shows the 2 different papers (one innie and one outtie!)

Check out Dawn's blog....you won't be disappointed! Just google her name!

Classic Ornament...

Pretty simple...easy card to mass produce...and not a lot of supplies....the sentiments is a rub-on...

Last but not least....

This is the last card from my stash of card fronts I have to show....

It was made eons ago using a technique called "spotlighting"...the truck image was stamped 2x....once on the Very Vanilla as the focal image and again on a scrap of Very Vanilla that was colored in and punched with a 1 3/8 circle punch...that circle was then adhered to the main image...pretty cool, huh?

I finally did it...

I finally went through my old bin of SU! demo things (I'm still a demo but just a hobbiest, now)...it's been sitting in my attic, collecting dust. As most of the things were old, I did manage to salvage a few card fronts.  I just popped them on a card base and plan to use them soon.   Most of the cards were samples I made for display boards...

Kitty in the round...

Peach Parfait makes this kitty soft and subtle, instead of scary!

The flags are just different widths, some embossed, some plain....

In reverse...

Christmas, then Thanksgiving?

I loved this Tweet stamp ever since I first laid eyes on it, but I have struggled as to what exactly to do with it.  I saw a version of the main image on Splitcoaststampers and decided to try it.

I stamped in Versamark on Confetti Ivory and embossed with clear EP.  I then sponged 2-3 fall colors over the leaves and wiped dry.  The bird is just stamped on paper and popped up.   The layout I saw on Artfeltimpression...

See what a great layout this is?!

And super simple!  Decided not to use a sentiment...

Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla

Same layout...but girly!

I used the same layout to make some pretty plain and get well cards....you can adjust the size of the circle to fit your image...used pearls instead of brads to anchor the strips of D/S paper...

Pear Pizzaz, Marina Mist, Concord Crush, Whisper White

65...

I loved this layout so much, that when I was asked to make a 65th birthday card for my friend's uncle, I knew exactly what I wanted to do....

The strips are 1/2 in wide...you can butt them up together or leave a sliver of space between them...I used the 1 inch square punch to make the 'tails'...this time I also add 3 brads to anchor the strips to the card...the small piece of ribbon is a tiny scrap folded in half...

45 down...30 to go!

I vowed last December to make a few Christmas cards every month (starting January!) so that when it came to the week I have to send out holiday cards, I would be so stressed trying to make 75 cards!

I'm proud to say that I have about 45 cards made!  So the last 30 don't seem too overwhelming!

Here's one that I love! The new reindeer...with a tiny orna, ent hanging from his antler...love the layout as well...great card for scraps of D/S paper!

Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler

Striped birthday

I needed some male birthday cards, and this is a great go-to card.  It's great for males or females (I did this originally in girly colors) young and old...

This is a CASE from the demo mag Stampin' Success...

On one of the cards, I added a scallop along the bottom of the center piece...I like it either way!

Bliss Blue, Early Expresso, Very Vanilla, D/S paper pack, Island Indigo

Doesn't always translate...

I saw this layout, done for Valentine's Day (with cupid and hearts)...and I thought I would give it a try with butterflies....not sure it came out in a good way...I do, however, River Rock and Basic Black together....
