I love how simple this card is!  You can make it for some many occasions, and in so many colors...CASEd this one from Artfeltimpressions...great way to use up some D/S paper!

Happy 70!

My hubby's uncle is celebrating his 70th birthday this weekend and here' one of the cards I made for him...

I love that new d/s smaller pack of paper...which surprises me because I usually like the 12 x 12 paper (so I can hoard it!)...

Duct Tape Diva

My 11 year old (like most girls that age) is into DUT TAPE...she even went to a duct tape camp!

Here she put her card making skills to the test...she taped up a piece of computer paper and ran it through the Big Shot (with a non SU! die) to make the lipstick and then created  the background of stripes the same way, this time running it through an embossing folder...

Pretty cool, huh?

Bright...to say the least....

NOT a reason to smile....

I bought this stamp set because it was a bargain ($5)...I just assumed that it was in the current catalog...but it isn't!...It doesn't really matter if it's current or not, but I do like to purchase stamp sets that will be around a long time (so I can CASE other peoples sample!)...still like it anyway...it's hard to see in the photo, but under he main daisy is stamped the coordinating shadow image in Crumb Cake ink...

When I saw this cat stamp...I had to have it!  But I don't need anymore Halloween stamps!  I have more Halloween stamps than any other holiday (including Christmas!)

This is my first (of many!) cards with this adorable cat!  And I had, had, had to emboss her!  Tried to use up some retired colors (Only Orange and Concord Crush)...love the layout also,...wait till you see how I flipped it around for the next card!

Guest stamper!

Every once in a while, my daughter (who is very crafty) will sit down and make a card...here's her latest...She said it started out as a birthday card for me, but quickly turned into a wedding/anniversary card!  Great job, Maggie!

More butterflies...

I really do love this butterfly set...but I wish ALL the butterflies had a matching punch...I had to hand trim all these butterflies!

The color combo come straight from the Color Coach (So Saffron, Poppy Parade, Baja Breeze)...the layout is from Artfeltimpressions...

Hard to see...but this guy is also embossed with Iridescent Ice EP...

Here's one of the new holiday sets...Christmas Deer...and the new smaller D/S paper...and the new embossing folder!

I heat embossed the deer with Versamark ink and Iridescent Ice embossing powder, but went a little to long on his body, so only his ears are glittery...pretty cool effect/mistake!  His body actually looks furry!...the paper is so stunning...it speaks for itself!

My attempt at the latest craze...triple stamping...except for the fact that I didn't read the directions!  Still like the card, anyway....will definitely try it again...now that I've watched a video on You Tube!

Simple Sympathy

Very simple...super quick card...the tag is just a rectangle that I trimmed off the corners to form a tag...the small scalloped edge is the ribbon punch tucked under the striped paper...

Holiday Cheers!

Here's the same set as yesterday, but with a holiday twist!  This card also uses the new D/S paper from the Holiday mini (the 4 x 6 size is perfect for card making and I don't feel guilty cutting into a full 12 x 12 sheet!)  The images in this set fit perfectly in the oval embossing folder...can't wait to make more holiday cards with this set (it also comes with a tiny candy cane!)

Here's the card I made for my brother...the paper/ribbon are not Stampin' Up!, but they match perfectly with SU! Soft Suede and Marina Mist...not too mention Sahara Sand!

Definitely Stamper's Meeting

This card was the Make-n-Take at last month's demo meeting...it was designed by Donna Lyons-O'Hara...she used the new In Colors and anew stamp set (sorry, don't remember the name)...and some sponging...it's so pretty....the center piece is also made using the new Big Shot Framelits....

I know I get obsessed!  When I try a new layout, I do it over and over and over....I love using different stamps to make the same card!
