Crazy Daisies!
I've take on making over 50 daisy pops for my kids' classmates...one daisy pop takes 4 flowers (2 medium and 2 large) so in order to avoid wasting the most cardstock, I cut the cards stock in quarters (4 1/4 x 5 1/2) and tilted the sheet slightly on the diecut just to get the medium and large flowers....my daughter helped me pick the colors....Pixie Pink, Pink Passion, Cameo Coral, YoYo Yellow, Ballet Blue, Lovely Lilac, Orchid Oppulence...all retiring colors as of tomorrow! Get them now before they are gome....don't forget the retired list post tomorrow!

Upsy Daisy thank you....
I just loved the color combo that my friend and fellow demo Cheryl Robinson used in her Mother's Day card to me, so I had to try it out! Really Rust, Chocolate Chip and Brocade Blue...would make a nice Father's Day card too, huh? I made 2 similar versions...just playing around....

Hurt Hubby!
My wonderful hubby sprained his knee playing softball on Sunday, so I have been busy helping him hobble around and overwhelmed by running our house all by myself! (I never realized how much I hate taking out the garbage!)...he went back to work today so I was busy putting the house back together...I started cutting all my daisies for the daisy pops for the kids' classmates....wait till you see all the colors! I will be back soon....

Daisy Pops!
Here's a really cute idea for kids....think birthdays, easter, giveaways at events.....I am going to make the for my kids' end of school year party....I used the Daisy Big Shot die cut and a strip of Green Galore folded around the stem...we are actually going to print 'Have a Great Summer!' on the leaves....Greta way to use up those retiring colors!

Blast from the Past
I recently received this card from my niece and guess what? I made it! Every year I give my sister-in-law a bunch of cards for her birthday so she can always have them on hand and I guess it came in handy! This card (if I remember correctly!) uses the returning color Pacific Point, Kiwi Kiss and Baja Breeze--please don't hold me to these colors! The Manhattan Floral set makes a great background paper....

Butterflies and flowers!
Here's an idea I saw somewhere????....use your embossing folders on Vellum cardstock (not regular vellum as it crumples!)....the photo doesn't really do it justice....here I layered the vellum cardstock on Pixie Pink...and added a layered butterflies from the SU! embosslit Beautiful Wings....makes a very cheery card!

Sharing Mother's Day
I just wanted to share 2 cards I got for Mother's Day...the green and gold card is from my new customer and friend, Gloria, the rose card is from my fellow demo, Cheryl Robinson....they are so beautiful and I'm so grateful that I was thought of on Mother's Day....

Purse-onally Terrific!
Here is the project I've been working on...it's a pattern from Becky Roberts...you can look her up and order the directions like I did..they are really simple and extremely detailed. The purse fits about 3-4 cards, depending on the embellishments and envelopes...can anyone say "end of year teacher gifts"???

Mod-Old Olive
Here's another take on the previous card....here I used a rectangle (2" x 1 1/4") and corner rounded the opposite corners--it was much easier this time since I was able to hold one side of the rectangle! The paper is from the Sweet Pea D/S paper pack--get it now before it retires in June!

Happy Mother's Day!
Happy Mother's Day to all (on this chilly, windy day!) I have to admit that I have lost some of my passion for creating lately, as we've been working on the house, but I have been feeling the need to stamp...so I ordered some photos to scrapbook and when I got the order on Friday night, I opened the box to find that they were pictures of another family! So now I am in photo limbo, wondering if I when I will get my own photos...so my scrapbooking will have to wait a bit longer...here is a card I made using some retiring colors (YoYo Yellow, Glorious Green & Ballet Blue) the Daisies die for the Big Shot and a piece of non SU! ribbon (but it is the perfect match of YoYo Yellow!) The center image is from the Wow Flowers set

Quick Wings
I needed just 2 more Mother's Day cards (and since the holiday snuck up on me) I needed them quick! I went to one of my favs--Wings of Friendship--and whipped up this card...using the retiring color-Sage Shadow--and So Saffron and Regal Rose...the Top Note die made things even easier! This would make a great Get Well or Birthday card as well.....
