Presents, presents, presents....
Trying to use up that Sweet Pea designer paper (I may never use it all!) Loved this set from Sale-a-bration and just got to use it....it's a great stamp to paper piece...thinking about using it for Christmas cards??!!

Totally...
I made this card for my niece's birthday...it uses the retired set Sweet and Sassy and retired In Color, Bermuda Bay...I paper-pierced the crown after embossing it with gold embossing powder to give it some extra shine...and I just happened to have a gem that matches the color exactly! I also used a rub-on for the sentiment inside....

A fond farewell....
I'm really going to miss this set, True Friend....I saw this card originally done in Dusty Durango and Soft Suede, but since I'm out of both of those I used Night of Navy and Ruby Red....

Quickie Father's Day cards.....
Ooops! I forgot to make my hubby a Dad's Day card (at least I remembered everyone else) Here I used Mellow Moss and some coordinating DS paper...really simple but classic...I thought it would make a nice Graduation Card in school colors....also a card for my hubby from my mom...what a cute vest card!

Definitely Stampers 2 meeting
Last night, me and my fellow demos got together for our monthly meeting...I designed this card for one of our Make-n-takes--actually I copied it and showed it to everyone else! It uses the 1 1/4, 1, 3/4 and 1/2 inch circle punches, the 5 petal flower punch (for the leaves) and the modern label punch for the greeting...colors are Brilliant and Ballet Blues, Pumpkin Pie and Really Rust, Pink Passion and Pixie Pink and Gable Green and Green Galore....The center of the flower usues a faux button--uses your white gel pen to make the 'thread'...

Cooky for circles!
I definitely have OCD! I see a project and have to make it several times...I pulled out my Color Coach wheel and chose some interesting color combos...here I used Sage Shadow, Bashful Blue, Bravo Burgandy and Creamy Caramel...as in the previous card, I extended the greeting ever the trimmed edee of the card and tacked on a skinny sliver of Sage Shadow to the inside of the card....the base of the card is Natural Ivory...it makes a nice masculine card...wait till you see my next colr combo...yes, I made more!

Color Inspiration
I ripped this ad out of some card making magazine several years ago and came across it again recently and thought it was so pretty...and besides, it had 2 retiring colors (Gable Green and Cool Caribbean-which I've been hoarding since the last color renovation!) So I decided that this color combo (which includes Chocolate Chip and Rose Red) would be perfect for this punch card...I used the 1" circle punch to create the circles and trimmed off a tiny sliver of the edge of the card and added a splash of Gable Green to the inside edge of the card with the Scallop Edge border punch...the greeting also hangs over the edge of the front of the card for an interesting effect....and don't forget the rub-on greeting...they are so easy to use!

Happy Anniversary!
Today marks 19 years together for my wonderful hubby and I (I just realized it yesterday!) so I needed a quickie card for to mark our anniversary...I saw the rainbow card and decided to try it (as a birthday card for my niece) and then thought it would make a great anniversary/wedding/Valentine's Day card....so I tried it in shades of pink (plus I'm trying to use up my retiring colors to justify the $200 I just spent on new catty stuff!)....the rainbow hearts uses Real Red, Only Orange, YoYo Yellow, Glorious Green, Ballet Blue and Lavender Lace....the pink card uses Rich Razzleberry,Melon Mambo, Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink, Pink Passion & Pixie Pink...check back soon for circle cards and a new Color Inspiration! I've been punch crazy!

Fiesta!
Here's a card, inspired by another card on Mary Fish's blog...I was thinking 'Fiesta!' and used some retiring Bold Brights...I thought it would be a cute birthday card or party invite...great way to use up scraps....directions for rounding the edges on Mary's blog....

Personalized purse....
I made this purse as a trial project, but then needed a gift for my little ones' pre-school teacher, Miss Dee....I used the Sweet Pea D/S paper to make 3 quick personalized notecards....I even put her initial on a little tag on the outside of the purse! The 'D' is embossed with clear embossing powder...
